Afterwards, we will explain the MIG equipment, setting up the controls and system, and the MIG welding process. Then you get to apply your new knowledge while welding your metals--you will get to take home your masterpiece!

MIG welding, also known as Metal Inert Gas is a semi-automatic or automatic process that uses a continuous wire feed as an electrode and an inert or semi-inert gas mixture to protect the weld from contamination. This is typically done for applying metal in production environment and many other larger projects because it's a fast process.

We will also host an "Intro to ARC Welding" workshop on this date for a pm session (1:00pm-3:00pm), you are welcome to attend both as the safety instruction will be different. These are $85 each, but if you take both we are running a special for 2 for $135. Call us at 313-221-5876 to sign up! We've also made tickets available at your convenience online.
