This course covers the effective, safe, and efficient use of backhoe / loader equipment. Backhoe / Loaders can present many unique safety challenges including risks relating to underground contact with gas, water, or power lines, or above ground interaction with power lines. All workers utilizing such equipment should have a basic safety certification. This course covers proper digging precautions such as meeting with MISS DIG System, Inc. prior to the start of any project.
